The Washington area is a great place to live, but sometimes it's nice to go where you can talk Minnesotan and people know what you're saying…where folks actually enjoy Ole and Lena jokes…where hotdish is hotdish and not casserole.
An opportunity to experience a little Minnesota awaits you right here in the Washington DC metropolitan area. For an extraordinarily reasonable annual fee ($10 for individuals and $15 for families), you can join the Minnesota State Society.
Society members have a connection with the North Star State - maybe they were born there, maybe they went to college there, or maybe they were just stranded there once during a blizzard. Whatever the connection, all enjoy the camaraderie of spending time with some kindred spirits.
