2002 Annual Walleye Dinner

Join the MN State Society at our annual Walleye Dinner!

The 2002 Walleye Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 10th at Fort Myer's Officers Club, in Arlington, VA and will feature the former U of M president, Mr. Nils Hasselmo as guest speaker.

When: Thursday, October 10, 2002
           Social Hour of cocktails (cash bar): 6:00pm
           Dinner served: 7:30pm

Menu:  This year's menu will consist of a delightful spinach salad with rasbperry vinaigrette dressing followed, of course, by a scrumptious beer battered walleye fillet (or vegetarian alternative), along with wild rice pilaf, seasonable vegetables, and dinner rolls. And to further tempt your palate, we'll finish with chocolate mousse and coffee or tea.

Special Guest: Mr. Nils Hasselmo. Former President of the University of Minnesota, and current DC area resident and president of the Association of American Universities.

Cost: $25 for members; $35 for non-members
